U.S. stocks rebounded from last week's losses to close higher Monday, after the Greek parliament's passage of an austerity bill supported hopes the country could avoid a messy debt default
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 72.81 points, or 0.6%, to 12,874.04
The S&P 500 gained 9.13 points, or 0.7%, to 1,351.77
The Nasdaq Composite added 27.51 points, or 1%, to close at 2,931.39.
