At least 27 people were killed and 140 injured as the result of two alleged suicide bombings in the Syrian capital of Damascus, the Associated Press reported Saturday, citing Syrian state TV According to the reports, the bombings appeared to be targeted at government security and intelligence buildings, and were described as "terrorist attacks" by state TV broadcasters
A third bombing was also reported at a Palestinian refugee camp in Damascus, but resulted in only the deaths of two suspected bombers
The blasts were the latest in a string of largely unexplained bombings or Syrian government military and security installations
