U.K.'s Cameron: Can't let Syria chemical use stand

NEW YORK (MarketWatch)
U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron on Tuesday said the alleged use of chemical weapons last week by the Syrian government on civilians can't be allowed to stand, offering a further signal that the U.S. and its allies are preparing for military intervention in the war-torn country
"What we have seen in Syria are appalling scenes of death and suffering because of the use of chemical weapons" by the regime of Bashar al-Assad, Cameron said, according to the BBC
"I don't believe we can let that stand."
