(RTTNews) - Shop price inflation in the UK rose in December on the back of a pick up in non-food inflation, a new survey showed on Wednesday.
Shop prices increased 2.1% year-on-year, up from a 2% increase in the previous month, reports said citing the British Retail Consortium.
Non-food inflation rose to 1.1% in December from 0.9% in the prior month, while food inflation stayed at 4%.
